Tools For Creativity (Assignment to write about our creative space.) A slight breeze ruffles the leaves of trees lining the banks of a stream as the water courses over stones, meandering lazily down the mountainside. A large, flat-topped rock overlooks the stream, protected from the sun by the canopy of the forest... (Okay, so maybe that is my dream...) In the meantime, I'll settle for a rainy day and the soothing, trickling sounds of an indoor fountain. Once in awhile a piece of instrumental music will inspire me, but otherwise I do my best work when I am alone in a quiet place - or in the shower. I'd really love to have a bay window with a window seat, one day, but I am actually quite content having my computer in front of an open window where I can look outside. |
