Me, Myself, and I
First attempt at "Creative Introductions" for a writing group, written when I still lived in Alaska.
Pools unto a poetic soul, the deep brown eyes gaze upon the world. A calm wind causes a dark hair to stray; her spirit to rise and soar with nature. Her heart reaches out to others around her to pull them into the warmth of friendship. Who is this, the one who loves all, man or beast? The polished gem from a rough stone... Crystal.
Among God's creations, she lives and thrives. The land surrounding her untouched by the hand of man. In the season of life, the hues of nature abound... verdant greens, deep pinks and purples, bright shades of blue. It is the land of the Midnight Sun. Then darkness comes, and with it, more beauty... ribbons of light weave across the sky; nature sleeps as God lays a blanket of white across the land. For her it is a fairytale world; a dream come true.
Within her castle, she is known to many others as the LadyBlue. Daily she labors to bring others into a fantasyland that exists in magic. Only the mind of a believer can welcome the place many love in their hearts. LadyBlue strives in aiding with the effort to bring the lost home again.
Often she takes quill to parchment and words flow forth in the form of odes. Upon the wings of her trusted steed, she rides into the land to see what God had created for her. She takes along a magic box that captures the beauty that lies all around. Sometimes, she can be found sitting in the window at the top of her palace, reading of others in fantastic, magical realms.
In the future, she dreams of improving her skills as author, poetess, and imagineer. She wishes to unleash the creative being trapped within to achieve a place in the hearts and minds of others.
