HOL Challenge: TeamChaoticBlue
One of the years I was involved with HOL (Hogwarts OnLine - Harry Potter fan community and school simulation), they had what was known as the "HOL Challenge" - a series of "tasks" that each team (consisting of two members) would complete, then the "best" in each task would be chosen and the community would vote on them. My character, Professor Crystal Blue, was teamed up with another professor, Patrick Chaotica (my very dear friend, Michael) - hence our team name "ChaoticBlue". We had a lot of fun with this and end up going pretty far in the competition (there was a "trivia" game at the end, and I think we may have ended up in the top four teams or something.)
Can't Remember the Name of This Task - Reading HP?

Ok, I'm pretty sure the point to this one was that you had to show someone reading Harry Potter in an unusual way. This one shows me reading HP in the dark. Click the image for the full size version.
Task 2: HOL Badge for 2003 Boston Meet Up

We had to create a "badge" that people could print out and wear when they were going to meet other HOLers in Boston.
Task 6: Riding On A Broom

In this one, you had to show a person riding on a broom. This is actually my sister-in-law, Rebecca... She'd probably die if she knew I did this. :) Click on the image for the full size.
Task 7: Erumpment

I'm pretty sure this task was to show an erumpment... but I can't remember for sure. An Erumpment is a magical creature - I quote from the HP Textbook "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them": "Erumpment: M.O.M. Classification: XXXX - The erumpment is a large grey African beast of great power. Weighing up to a tonne, the Erumpment may be mistaken for a rhinoceros at a distance. It has a thick hide that repels most charms and curses, a large, sharp horn upon its nose and a long, rope-like tail. Erumpments give birth to only one calf at a time. The Erumpment will not attack unless sorely provoked, but should it charge, the results are usually catastrophic. The Erumpment's horn can pierce everything from skin to metal, and contains a deadly fluid which will cause whatever is injected with it to explode. Erumpment numbers are not great, as males frequently explode each other during the mating season. They are treated with great caution by African wizards. Erumpment horns, tails, and the Exploding Fluid are all used in potions, though classifed as Class B Tradeable Materials (Dangerous and Subject to Strict Control)." The Headmaster of HOL had a *pet* erumpment, hence this image. Click on the image for the full size version.
Task 9: HP Out There

In this task, we were to find something in our local area that had "something to do with HP." I was living in Hawaii at the time. Click on the image for a full size version.
