Christmas Crafts Christmas/Holiday themed things. 
 Christmas bath kit I created for kids christmas packs. The "tree" is cut from compressed sponge, and the "snowball soap" was made from a recipe involving grating up bars of ivory soap and adding enough water to make a "dough" - I also added a bit of super fine glitter for more sparkle. Bag headers made on the computer. Click the images for larger view. Hot Air Balloon Ornament  I had a "secret santa" partner one year that collected hot air balloon stuff, so decided that I would attempt to make her a hot air balloon christmas tree ornament. I started with a clear glass ball ornament then used glass paints to paint the balloon design on it. I found a super small square basket, drilled holes in the sides with my Dremel tool (to attach the strings). I filled it with miniture "fake" christmas presents and fake candy canes and such. I took some "fiber fill" stuffing (what you would use to put in teddy bears, etc) and fluffed it out to make a "cloud" to which I glued the filled basket. I glued in some fake snowflakes to the cloud. I tied strings to the sides of the basket, then tied it around the top of the clear glass ornament.  Everything painted by me. You can buy all the pieces pre-cut out. I have a booklet somewhere with all these ideas for an entire christmas village made out of birdhouses (and several more I came up with on my own.), but I can't remember what it is called now to make a link to it.  Something else I created for kids christmas packs. There are oats and colored sugar in the little bags (some recipes say to use "glitter", but I heard somewhere that glitter is bad to use as it is bad for animals, so use colored sugar instead.)
